2017 SPENCE Howell Mountain Cabernet 750ml
This 2017 is a wonderful expression of our vineyard. On first approach dark cherry, black and blueberries, salted caramel, cassis, and mocha draw you in. On the palate, it continues to deliver rich baked black fruits, toasted walnuts, and minerality. The structure, balance, and depth of intense fruit concentration hit all the notes. Focused with pronounced yet integrated tannins they tend to elevate not overwhelm the lingering finish. Drinking quite nice now, this young wine in time will reward you with much-added pleasure.
